Sunday #4 Intermediate Tour De Cure Training Road Ride - Blanco, Texas

So, here we go again! Back by popular demand... We're riding in the beautiful hill country of Blanco Texas, the fourth Sunday of every month.

This is Ride Like A Girl/ Ridin' With The Girls favorite road ride. We are meeting at the Starbuck's at 1604/281.

If you want coffee, try & get there by 7AM and we will drive out at 7:15AM to the Blanco Courthouse on 281. It should only take 20 minutes.

For those of you that know where the Blanco Courthouse is, just meet us there around 7:45am.

Wheels down at 8AM.

Park at Old Blanco County Courthouse - Main Street between 3rd and 4th Streets. On that side of 281, we ride down 4th street to Mesquite St. Left on Mesquite. That takes us past Blanco State Park. We ride County Rd 102 and take a left on Blanco-Kendelia Rd (Little Blanco River). We ride that around to 281 and then turn around and ride back to the courthouse.

We have 2 groups. Group One does a Steady Pace of 12-14 mph and about 21 miles. Group 2 does a Moderate Pace of 15-17 mph and about 34 miles. (Any Road Warriors that are faster and show up will be on their own).

Remember we have a 'no drop' policy, so you always have someone to ride with.

Some of us are going to find a place to have lunch afterwards.

The last Sunday of every month, we train. Come out and train with us. We train for various rides, the MS, the Tour De Cure, Livestrong Challenge, River Region Classic, Tour De Gruene, Conquer The Coast, Fall Fredrickburg Frolic... just to name a few.
These training rides will run all year long. These are intermediate rides, but we still have our 'no-drop' policy. These are not beginner rides.  (We have Beginner Rides every Saturday Morning).
Pace information:

Scenic Intermediate - Steady, scenic pace of 12-14 mph
Veloce Intermediate - Moderate to fast pace of 14-15 mph
Advanced Intermediate - Fast, advanced pace of 16+mph
These rides are open to members/non-members and all riding clubs.
