San Antonio's Ride Like A Girl & Riding With The Girls will be participating in this ride for 2010. Come out and be part of the fun!!
Several of us will be traveling out to Utopia / Leakey Friday afternoon/ evening. Everyone's renting a cabin for the night. (we'll be emailing for overnite reservations soon.) It's really beautiful there. Several of us will gather for dinner, and a climb/descent clinic on Friday. Saturday we'll wake early, have breakfast and head off to a most amazing ride. They have several different ride lengths to accommodate everyone!
Reward yourself with a fully supported bike ride on quiet country roads through some of the most spectacular fall scenery Texas has to offer. The Texas Hill Country River Region Classic starts at 8:00 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2010, from Garner State Park and follows the Frio and Sabinal rivers plus climbs the ridge that divides them. Route choices include 34, 52, and 94 miles with well-stocked rest stops about every 10 miles.
The River Region of the Texas Hill Country offers a wide variety of lodgings for every type of traveler, For a full list of the offerings available in the area, visit the Lodging section of the Texas Hill Country River Region's Web site. To help plan where to stay, all rides will start/stop at Garner State Park.
Staging ground for events is the Shady Meadows camping area of Garner State Park.

- Climbing and descending clinic from 7:30 - 8:15 PM
Saturday, October 16 - Sunrise at 7:39 AM
- Onsite registration and packet pickup from 6:00 - 7:50 AM
- Ride starts 8:00 AM
- Pasta dinner served, 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM
