San Antonio's Ride Like A Girl
Come out & ride with us...
From it’s earliest beginnings Resurrection Ministries has ventured out in the streets to feed the homeless where they live. Truly a mobile ministry; the feedings takeplace at various street locations, under overpasses and/or urban camp sites.

Veronica has been truly blessed to have God bring her to find a street preacher, a minister to the homeless. He has since become a dear friend. His name is Brian Wicks. He runs Resurrection Ministries, has done so now for over 9 years. Every Tuesday & Thursday night he takes to the street to feed their bodies & their spirits.
Just like Jesus, he goes to them with His gospel message of hope. This service is the very core of Resurrection Ministries. Over the past 10 years it has been a time of building relationships and trust; to get close to those who need a hands on touch from Heaven.
Praise the Lord for beans and cornbread! In short, Brian believes that whomever we feed whether or not they’re ready to receive the spiritual food offered, the mind set is I’m being fed by someone representing this "Jesus". So if "Jesus" gives them a bowl of un-tasty gruel…it may be free and it may fill the belly, but what would it say about Jesus?
Bridge Church
COME JOIN US! We meet from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm Sundays in San Antonio,Texas just off Broadway between Josephine & Grayson streets… under the bridge.
"We just love Sunday’s"! Resurrection Ministries, along with a team of volunteers set up under an overpass in an empty parking lot and "We have church!" The congregation of homeless, non-homeless poor and/or curious onlookers (as we are in plain view), gather every Sunday to receive provisions and food, but mostly come hungry for fellowship with the spirit of God.
Brian always begins with prayer and scripture, followed with lively praise music…mostly Christian "Evangelistic" Blues; then prayerfully pastor Brian delivers an anointed spirit-filled message which is always closed with an invitation for prayer.
They have often experienced God’s presence in revival proportions with signs and wonders following…Hallelujah! Not full yet? Lunch arrives while we pack up and clean up; leaving the bridge as we found it while leaving the people touched with fresh manna from heaven.
